How do I choose the right security company to hire? In this field you have so many companies to choose from and it can get confusing? Why? First of all is the company licensed? Second are the bonded? Have the security officers gone through a background and drug test? What about if I’m not happy with the security guard I am sent out can I request a new one?  Can I make special request on the gender, height, weight? Will the security company have any hidden fees? Will I be charged overtime for 12 hour shift security? What kind of certification do the security guards have? What kind of duties can I ask of the security officer? How can I find out if the security company is reputable? How can I find out if the security company is experienced in the type of security I need? The list of questions can be endless.

My best advise is to call around and do some research. This will take some serious time. However lets look at the big picture. Your goal is to hire a trusting security company that you can trust to look after your property. The time invested to doing your research will be greatly rewarded.
